Tsubakimoto Chain Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka; President: Takatoshi Kimura) is strengthening its product development in the field of new mobility as part of its new business initiatives.
As a small mobility product, the company has developed the “Full Electric Cargo” (tentative name), a special-class electric three-wheel vehicle designed with the concept of “anyone can ride easily without a license.”
Under its Long-Term Vision 2030, Tsubakimoto Chain aims to be a manufacturing company that contributes to solving three major societal challenges:
1. Creating a society that is gentle on people
2. Establishing safe and secure living infrastructure
3. Building an environmentally friendly society
The development of the Full Electric Cargo is part of this effort and follows the company’s electric-assist three-wheel bicycle “LA SI QUE®” (currently in development) as another small mobility product.
Leveraging the development, manufacturing, and sales expertise of Tatamo! Bike, this vehicle was designed with a simple structure for ease of use and eye-catching appeal. Taking into account the needs of delivery operators and similar users, the body is slim, low-profile, and features a low center of gravity. In addition, the addition of a canopy enhances comfort during deliveries.
