Electric-Assist Three-Wheel Vehicles: “Multi-Purpose e-Cargo” and “LA SI QUE”

Tsubakimoto Chain Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka; President: Takatoshi Kimura) began development of the electric-assist three-wheel bicycle “Multi-Purpose e-Cargo”, designed with the concept of “a versatile electric bike anyone can ride easily.”
The prototype was exhibited at the Bicycle E-Mobility City-Expo 2023 held on May 12–13, 2023. Responsible for product design, product mockup supervision, and CMF (Color, Material, Finish) design.
Focusing on the fact that compact, stylish three-wheel bicycles have not yet become widespread in Japan, the design was developed to be easy to handle and safe for anyone to ride. In addition to everyday use such as shopping, the design also considers leisure purposes like camping and tourism.
